PSA: Recruit4Cause is Open

This is a general note for my company that I need to share to my audience:

As you already know, I am the Outreach Director for Recruit4Cause, a social enterprise that aligns human resources activities with social causes. Essentially, we are a job posting site committed to allocating 10% of the cost from each job posting to one of our charitable partners. The company posting the job will have the ability to select which one of our charitable partners it would like to donate to. This is a job opportunity website that serves both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

We are not only trying to make a positive impact on society thought our unique business model, but we are also looking to change the way job boards operate by changing the entire experience of job posters and job seekers. These features will be displayed during the next phases of the beta site. Bottom line, we want to be a game changer in the recruitment world.

Here are a few pertinent highlights:

  • The site “officially” launched in Beta on 11/14/13 at the recent RecruitDC event. It will remain in Beta as we go through different phases of updating/upgrading the site.
  • As the site evolves, both job posters and candidates will experience ground breaking changes to the way jobs are posted, how applicants submit their resume, and how both parties communicate.
  • Currently, we are allowing companies and job posters to post their job or resume for free. This could change on December 3, 2013 for #GivingTuesday. http://givingtuesday.org/partner/recruit4cause/
  • Our growing list of charitable partners include charity: water, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Direct Relief, Doctors without Borders, and several more. The entire list can be found here: http://recruit4cause.com/Home/Partners

We would greatly appreciate it if you post your jobs or resumes on the site as we implement these different phases. If you have any questions or comments, you can email me at tracy@recruit4cause.com.

Oh, Recruit4Cause got a mention on ERE.

Thank you.
